Buck Adams is fondly remembered in the industry, though not for crap like this forgotten video he directed and co-starred in. It's clearly a Kylie Ireland vehicle, but the fabulous KI can stand on so many wonderful shows that this one should remain lost.
It was made by Sin City, usually a reliable source of a quality entertainment up until its demise several years back. Buck is stuck with an uncredited script IMDb attributes to Marc Cushman/Cash Markman, ultimate hack in the scribbling department, a fact I was unaware of watching it but one that makes perfect sense given the underachievement of the whole.
Buck does get to hump Kylie, nothing to sneeze at (then or now). He's planning to move them to NYC from Malibu, but she doesn't relish the prospect of leaving all her friends and an idyllic beach existence.
Adams plays his role in taciturn, hissable fashion throughout, and one wonders (even Cash doesn't know) what's driving his sourness. Later he confesses to another girl that hanging out with Kylie was just a summer thing and he's planning to drop her. Such negativity in a mindless, supposedly hedonistic romp is ridiculous, and sure enough, the video just ends abruptly with a sex scene and absolutely none of Buck's and Mark's dangling plot threads addressed.
Along the way there are a bevy of ultra-busty blondes (including Kylie, before her career went Redhead) humping away flashing very obviously fake tits. Bobby Vitale is tiresome as always and Chuck Martino wastes some footage complaining/dreading his upcoming 40th birthday. That type of idiocy helped contribute to the death of narrative altogether in the 21st Century Adult world.
Tony Tedeschi briefly tries out a stand-up routine that was merely annoying, pretending to be a hipster drummer tapping out rhythms on his own body (production was to cheap to pop for an actual drum set). A party scene gives sort of an orgy aspect, but Buck's cross cutting between sex scenes is extremely poor.
