Khan ruins the show for me. The show should spend more time on the car and not the endless narration and "angry" Khan.

Watched the pilot. Fantastic idea but it's so over the top and dramatised it takes away from the show. Two mechanics seem very capable but act like buffoons, losing keys to £35000 car... Mr Khan is obviously a character made for the show but he's genuinely not likeable and badly acted. Really can't watch any more.

Had this show just been about Ralph and Ranen making unique adjustments to cars each week, it would be great. They are two great guys who know their stuff and are informative to what they're doing. Khan is also much more watchable when he's not being fake angry at the guys and explaining the car and the styling. It could be a 30 minute episodes without the padding of too much additional bad acting and dramatic scenes, especially for a car show.

So self-obsessed he parks his car with its tacky 'Khan' decal on the hazards of a disabled parking space. Spent the entire programme feeling sorry for the mechanics who seened capable but purposely made to look stupid.

This isn't what I was expecting. The engineers appear to be clueless, Mr Kahn tries to play the part of a tough businessman - neither work

After two episodes ..... (slept through most of ep2) won't be watching a third !

Gave the first episode a go, as I thought the idea seemed good. That was until we were introduced to Mr Khan. I'm not sure which decade he thinks it is, but his style is so arrogant it becomes almost comical.

However, if you can make it past that to the conclusion of the show and the big reveal you will witness them absolutely ruin a perfectly good Aston Martin. For me that was enough to stop there and move onto something else.

Why on Earth has every single car show have to have the same stupid cliches?

Bad acting, stupid scripted events, insane deadlines, sloppy and idiotic customizations. In case you were wondering, is is really necessary to travel to the other side of the planet to get pointers on drifting or ballistic protection? No, it really isn't.

And speaking of ballistics...Is it a good idea to put a container of pressurised, highly flammable gas to a vehicle that might get shot at? No, it really, REALLY isn't. Or is it a good idea to chip tune the engine without replacing any of the factory parts and completely disregard its effects on the lifespan of the engine? No, it really isn't.

Look at his business from the outside in and away from the program Mr Kahn is a competent business owner and designer who is capable of improving already brilliant cars to stand out from the crowd. This however is hard to comprehend from watching the program. His portrayal to camera is that of a egotistical control freak who has an inability to trust his team. Who despite having impressive resumes and credentials themselves are also made out to be borderline amateurs.

The production team clearly engineer scenarios designed to cause confrontation and disagreements that do nothing to improve the program, nor dose it effect build that the program is fundamentally about.

The cast's interactions with each other and to camera feel awkward and scripted.

The engineers seemed ok.

Khan thinking him and his henchman as London gangsters are pathetic.

Mr Khan, you designs are unimaginative and so bad I would let you make toast!

Well, you probably don't go to Disney for a car show so that's the first problem. But, overall it was plenty entertaining and I really liked season 1 cast. I enjoyed the clash in personalities between the Engineers and Mr Khan. The deadlines are over the top especially if you have worked on cars before! Just go watch for the fun and you'll get you're car fix for sure.

Nope..not going to watch this show anymore. I just watched the episode about the Camaro. There are so many things wrong with this show I'm not sure I can list them all. Mostly though I find the show insulting. Am I supposed to believe that one of the company exec's doesn't know what a Camaro looks like? Seriously? Are we supposed to believe they you can evaluate a car against a Lamborghini by towing an airplane? Are we to believe you can evaluate the cars handing by driving around a wet track with traction control off and stomping on the gas while steering like a spastic child? Seriously? How stupid do you think your audience is? If you are going to make reality tv show at least try a little hard to make it seem real. As is it's not just fake, it's stupid fake.

. A few factoids : Afzal Kahn has been described as "the king of car customization" by the automotive magazine, Autocar. In December 2014, Kahn was presented with a lifetime achievement award at the Car Dealer Magazine awards. The judging panel paid tribute to his achievements, acknowledging that for more than 20 years, he has been setting the trends in automotive fashion. The 2 guys on the show were auditioning to be his top engineers. He pushed them as a test of their quick thinking and engineering prowess. Kahn is recognized as one of if not the best in the world at bespoke high end trucks. The show showed him pushing them to succeed at areas of the business he was not in before they got there. The cars are awesome. As soon as I get my money right I'm flying out to London and get him to create a Supercar Escalade. This post is going to be major to me after I get it. I like it. The extra acting can be a bit much, but the final reveals are worth it.

This show wpuld be so much better if it dropped the"Mr" khan persona. The parts of the show that follow the engineers and what they are doing is really interesting. They are two really likeable characters too, once you get past some of the shocking acting early on. They are nit actors... So why make them act. The show really shines when their clear knowledge and natural characters come through. And then there is the "Mr" khan bit. I'm sure this guy is very involved with the work but he seems absolutely pointless in terms of a role.... I'm not even sure I know what he does in the business. He is trying to be pritrayed as a bad guy and this is to his and the how's detriment. The fake tension, the unexplained self imposed deadlines make the show worse. As do some of the comic side characters that again, don't seem to have an actual job. The only two people that seem to do any actual work are the two engineers and this is where the show should focus it's time.

I would love to see this show continue but it needs to refocus. Concentrate on the engineers, the travel, the explanations. Stop painting Mr khan as the baddy boss. Get rid of the needless side characters, self imposed deadlines and general fakeness. Make it fly on the wall rather than drama.

The bosses in these series are always talking trash about how the engineers aren't doing what they want. That's oK maybe for the first 2-3 episodes but after a while its just BS. If they really felt that way they wouldn't keep contracting these engineers. Let's also ignore the fact that bosses obviously don't have the first clue about engineering. If you can ignore that it's a good series. I don't know why reality TV producers think they need to introduce drama

I just watched an episode were they customized a Bentley. The contractor wanted to go anywhere and it should be suited to travel long ways and have good offroad capabilites. Where should i start... Rims and tires was stock wich means offroad driving would be the same, they only increases the pressure in the air ride. The "gun safe" in the boot was a simple box with 3 digit code (cheap AF) that anyone can break. To "learn and think like a hunter" they shot a couple of shotgunshells, yeah now you really now how its to drive in the outback. Worst "car show" ever. Khan just seems like a bully, if i watched this i would NEVER EVER!! And i repeat: NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy a car from that man. Period.

series 1 afzal khan even in non scmb episodes comes across as a total knob and thats being nice he doesnt really invent anything different and lines like "we have broken america" and "no one can do what i can do" thats pure pomposity put him up against likes of master designers like gotham garage who built the 935,000 dollar XNR protoype and dontated it to the world famous peterson museum along various cars like fast and furious film cars, tv cars from failed but kinda entertaining for all of 5 mintutes pimp my ride to famous nascar, f1, and lemans cars.

Then you have likes of chip foose, late boyd coddington if alive would rip him to pieces.

His 500 car a year huntsman car how many of those has anyone seen thats because there isn't any! The guy really is a legend of complete bull he thinks up these fantasy cars and then thinks miraclously will have likes of bmw, land rover etc saying give it us without any crash testing, safety, performance stats hes a nobody to them jaguar for one came up with the utterly insane vision gt race car which is a hoot on gt7.

And then didnt think that a while rubbish off road evoque wouldnt have a panel for a towing eye seriously! Even my little fiat 500 has a towing hook! . Khan is on another planet he is a pure adult version of jay cartright from inbetweeners full of beep.

Now mr prindervillie s2 not as much of a beep as khan but as pathetic a search on companies house shows every business invovling prinderville automotive or car business he has run has closed down.

That makes me wonder were discovery paying for the builds, the bike that was done with moto rapido and was his scmb business just a front for the show and did he actually own anything?

This show clearly had near zero budget for the actual show itself. The acting is cringy and so scripts you can see it. Watched the Camaro episode on Disney + and it was terrible

The Brit's were so snobbish it was palpable. The show moronically compared Italian super cars with American muscle as if they were comparables.

Did I mention the snob attitude? It was so bad that all I could think was please pass on the car so it stays in America where it will be appreciated. And then they can go get one of those small cars they like that has the "elegance" the profess.

I love the show so much except for Prindiville. I hope it is just for the show because if it is hos true nature, then even if I become a very rich man, I wil never have business with him. No way. There are so many car restoration and customization shows that the boss is so supportive with his crew even though they are way too rich ckmpared to their people. I don't like him at all and I am sure that I am not the only having opinions like these. You can be humble and kind and still be a very successful businessman. Look at Strve Jobs, Bill Gates. Mark Zuckerberg and the famous Warren Buffett. So Mr. P. I don't like you. Why can't you change your personality and try some kindness and be more appreciative.
