Quite a fun movie

I thought this movie was cheeky and fun. A nice family movie about a brat who saves Christmas for the homeless. I thought the homeless shelter was really a dumb as she says but its more like boutique hotel.

My guy Bill but..

Wasn't the best effort in acting, debuts, or writing. Get at me we can pen some more greatness.

All dialogue feels forced and choppy even for a "Bet+ " film. All networks are competing so we expect at least to be up to par.

Not good

The actress who played Valerie was beautiful but an awful actress. Bill Bellamy's gray streak in his beard kept changing with every scene. Brandee Evans was the best part of the movie. The concept of the movie was decent but it could have been executed better. I gave it one star because I couldn't give zero.

Avoid this one for the holidays...
paul_haakonsen7 December 2021
Now, I hadn't even heard about the 2021 Christmas movie titled "A Rich Christmas" prior to sitting down to watch it. And with it being December, the holiday season and all, and it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I found the time to sit down to watch "A Rich Christmas."

Well, I made it through not even half of the movie. Then I had to give up on this heap of rubbish. The storyline was shoddy and just so pointless that I couldn't submerge myself into anything that was going on. And it was bolstered by an insanely laughably bad character gallery all round. This 2021 movie definitely had the most unappealing and boring characters in a movie that I have ever stumbled upon.

The storyline told in "A Rich Christmas" just didn't appeal to me in the least bit, so it was progressingly getting more and more difficult to keep faking an interest in the movie as the narrative tumbled on and on like a lame horse.

The acting performances in the movie were, well, let's just leave it at this shall we? At least they were trying.

Of course, not every Christmas movie is going to be a homerun, and "A Rich Christmas" was definitely no such thing. More like a massive swing and an even bigger miss. I am left puzzled at just what director Victoria Rowell set out to accomplish with this movie, because it sure was no Christmas miracle.

My rating of "A Rich Christmas" lands on a two out of ten stars.

Brandee was the best thing about this movie. The spoiled daughter could not act, strugglinggg. When she started hyperventilating, I almost turned the movie off lmao. Bill was entertaining as always. Overall, good movie to pop on to watch on a chill day. Has a nice Christmas feel.

A Rich Christmas Is Poorly Written, Poorly Made, And Poorly Acted. 1-2-Miss.
P3n-E-W1s36 December 2022
Greetings, salutations, and a seasonal welcome to all you movie aficionados. Here are my considerations and recommendation for A Rich Christmas.

Story: 0.50/2 - Direction and Pace: 1.25/4 - Performances: 0.50/2 - Enjoyment: 0.50/2

Total 2.75/10

Well, I was expecting so much more than what I received when I watched this Chrimbo flick, and I wasn't expecting that much. The premise of the story is sound. A nouveau riche daughter of a self-made man is about to be taught a serious life lesson by dear old papa. It's all about the money and how you spend it, not about the multitude of pleasures you can selfishly give yourself. Daddy Rich stops her allowance, so she uses her womanly wiles to have two men-child rob him. This crime lands her in prison and then at one of the homeless shelters he funds. Of course, this is her "wake up and smell the coffee" moment. Sadly, the writer of this tale lacks energy, and the entire story ends up with the feel of a wet and stinky fish. The characters are two-dimensional and poorly constructed. And worse comes when the performers take to the stage. Their performances are either over-the-top or massively understated, to the point of tediousness. The two principal players in this picture are the worst, as most of the supporting cast would have made better leads. However, it's not only the weak story and poor acting that are out of synergy. The direction is just as lacking. There's poor set design, unimaginative filming, and barely any Christmas atmosphere.

All in all, I'd suggest steering clear of this Christmas Turkey this season of goodwill - you may get food poisoning,

Please check out my HO! HO! HO! Christmas Belles list to see where I ranked the movie and to find a better film to watch.

Take Care, Stay Well, And Best Wishes For A Merry Christmas.

Great movie

I thought this was a great movie. Especially the butler. I think he should have his own series.

Wait... ok, that's me.

Or at least more lines :)

Everyone attached to this movie worked very very hard and it shows. Congratulations all.

@newyorkactor Stephen Sorrentino.
