I was in a really, really dark place when this premiered in 2021, and can I just say, Chuck Rayner...I cannot thank you enough for making my horrible life exponentially worse. This show is the bane of my existence. I wake up every day haunted by the uncomfortably long scenes and unnecessary aerial shots. My ears ring with the sounds of amateur actors reading stale lines incorrectly and church music playing loudly in the background at inappropriate times. Every time I hear sirens, I get graphic flashbacks to the scene of two EXPERT paramedics, who never stop talking about how much they work, struggling to get a stretcher holding a pipe cleaner of a man into the back of an ambulance. The sight of the iMovie application, which was clearly used to edit this monstrosity, triggers a nervous breakdown.
The blatant lack of effort in this series' production is embarrassing to witness. If I wrote, filmed, edited, and watched this countless times and deemed it not only fit for the public to see but to MONETIZE, I would crawl into a cave and never show my face again.
But you know what? You do you, Chuck Rayner. Live your dreams.
