Another one bites the dust.

Tom is convinced Fran is holding out on him, she convinces him that Duncan Hall has the answers. The Capone investment is worth fifty million.

It's a decent episode, and the pieces are starting to fall into place, the witnesses are quickly being eliminated.

It's a solid middle episode, but being a huge fan of Francis Durbridge, I want it to be his work, and even though it is in his style, it's not his quality, there is just a bit of predictably about it, you have an idea of what's coming.

The character of Bunty is so over the top, thank goodness for Sallis and Thaw.

Mid point, decent, 6/10

A solid but unspectacular episode only because by the end the police home in on the value of The Capone Investment. It still does not quiet hit all the right notes.

Tom is telling all and sundry to get police protection.

Only for those people who have been warned to get up to their own skullduggery such as the pub landlord Duncan.

Maybe they should have listened to Tom.

Wheatfield did notice something about one of the killings, the swimming pool death was different to the shot in the head.
