Ralph gets fed up with the lack of service they are receiving from the landlord. So he decides to buy a duplex and have the Nortons as renters. Remember, they decided to share an apartment before and that was a disaster. Well, here we go again. First of all, the place is a dump. There's flooding in the basement, cracks in the walls, bad heating, on and on. Ralph gets Norton to sign a ninety-nine year lease and that puts Norton in a situation where he and Trixie need to get Ralph to break the lease. Things get crazier and crazier. Of course, since there is no continuity, this episode will be forgotten and they will be manning the checkered tablecloth once again.
