Mr. Patel comes back to Precious. He wants her to help solve finding the mysterious Jack, supposedly the boyfriend of his daughter Nandira. Precious discovers the truth when she follows Nandira to a cinema where the detective realizes the boyfriend is something the girl has created to annoy her father. Mme. The entrepreneur, Two Shots Pulani has commissioned Precious to check the backgrounds of the finalists for Miss Beauty and Integrity contest. Since Precious is busy with the other case, she asks Grace to go interview the women. It appears that all, but one, have an agenda if the win. Only one, Patricia Kopong, meets the high standards expected of the one being selected. Little prepares Precious and Grace for what ensues after Patricia is pronounced Miss Beauty and Integrity.

At the conclusion, Precious who is driving home, notices JLB coming from the opposite direction. They stop, and it is clear she wants to see what is going on in his head. Another fun episode of this series based on Alexander McCall Smith's novels set in Botswana. The direction is credited to two men, Tim Bricknell and Tim Fywell and the writing to Robert Jones. The books set the action in the African nation of Botswana featuring the lady detective. Jill Scott plays the lead role. The supporting African cast is as endearing as they were in the written page by Mr. McCall Smith.
