It starts out with "coming attractions" & "concessions ads". That alone should let you know you're not watching a SERIOUS movie. I laughed continuously through this movie, which is more than I can say for a lot of big budget comedies.
Yes, this movie is also "horror". It moves right along, keeps you occupied. There are lots of film homages/references, which was nice to see. It's about a killer and his friend, who doesn't want to believe that his friend IS a killer. For being a low budget film, the gore was pretty well done, and cringe-worthy (in a good way). While the killer is killing there are lots of funny things going on: a disappearing cat, people "magically" appearing on the screen, lots of people not even noticing that the killer has on a blood-soaked white lab coat & his hands & face are covered in blood, and the funniest bit (ongoing throughout the film) was people NOT noticing (or at least not reacting to) hearing a man continuously screaming outside!
Watch with an open mind, and you will enjoy. Yes, the movie is comical, but it also makes you go "YECHHH!". PERFECT combination of comedy and horror.
