Not a fan of Korean movies, yes I've watched a few, not watched any of the TV shows but figured I'd give this ago, it's a little distracting reading so many subtitles that are flashed up on screen & try to follow the flow of the show but dang this was all kinds of confusing, 5 years ago, 5 years later, 10 years ago, it just seemed like someone got real lazy in the editing studio cos by the end I wasn't sure if we were in the present or jumping backwards & forwards.

Biggest problem I found is every scene seems to be thickly "troweled on" whether it's dramatic, sentimental or scenes of violence, at times it seems to be very soap opera like then throws in scenes of violence that are over long & quite odd, disturbing but very odd.

Because I litteraly haven't seen many Korean productions I can't really give a fair indication of the quality of acting but screaming Korean children are very annoying, Obviously there's going to be a culture divide here with me being English but I'm pretty sure the korean police service/force would be a lot more professional than is portrayed in this show, I'm also pretty sure if a family had a child that's killed a rabbit at school then come home killed all the fish in the fish tank then taken the family's pet dog out & drowned it, that kid would not be left unattended at home with other younger children, heck I'm pretty sure the kid would be in some secure mental institute for a whole lot of observation.

While I found this intriguing it didn't really have much to do with the Premise of this show, yes there's a test that's been devised for screening for the "psycho" gene & an attempt to get a law passed to use it was shown but other than that this was really just a show about a serial killer.

If this were a show made in the UK or US I would simply say its been pretty badly written with some very odd & confusing dialogue & acted out by some very amateurish soap actors & then edited very badly but it's Korean so I think 5/10 is probably a very fair score.

Kdramas have tons of screaming peoples and pathetic grown man get knocked up by some serious hooded skinny guy. I just don't get it. And these reviews are so crazy lol there will be always crazy fans everywhere I get that too but just be honest, every movie that your idol starred don't have to be good just accept and give it some honest scores, don't just throw 10/10 score in everywhere. Tbh this episode was kinda cringey. I get it it's a thriller movie they supposed to scream and f#cked up by the killer but make it believable like they struggling and our "good" man stabbed our something like that. They just dies pathetically just screaming and tell someone they love to run. Seriously???? The next problem is time jumps like wtf is up with that? Maybe it's for the story etc etc. Fk it make it clear pls. My brain just committed suicide tryna keep up with that 5 years later, after, before sh#t.

Buuuttttt. The lightning and camera works, colors are great as always. Korean movies sure can deliver that.

I know this post is so much hateful and hurtful. But I watch lot of movies I know korean movies are like these. Im just done idk but I'm going to end this series for sure.
