Loved the the cast and and thought very well acted on all fronts. The main actors Trisha Mann and Reggie Gaskins made it sincere and hilarious in a glorious yet real take on the valley and peaks of maybe not so happily ever after. The movie was original and thoughtful regarding transitional midlife crisis and marriage pains in a comedic drama. Loved the drama watching while eating popcorn by the actor Kiyano Le'vin. It could have been very contrived, but the actors and the writing made it seem believable and relatable. A very good film to watch. Would highly recommend this for a good time watch.

Reggie Gaskins does a great job with the writing, and he, Trisha Mann, and Kendyl McCray bring it to life. With extremely relatable themes of the ups and downs of relationships, the hardships of aging, and midlife crisis, this comedy drama will have you laughing out loud. What I enjoyed the most was the clever dialogue between Trisha Mann and Reggie Gaskin. The interlaced humor during seemingly "serious" scenes was perfectly place. Just when you think a scene is about to get serious, it takes a funny turn. I definitely recommend this movie. Watch it with friends for a great laugh and a fun time together.

The harsh reality in many marriages or relationships about falling out of love told in the funniest way in this movie. The story line is a harsh reality of midlife challenges and the effect it may have in many relationships. This may hit close to home so it'll have you on the edge of your seat so have your popcorn ready! But it will also having you laughing out loud so make sure you don't choke on it. And just when you thought you knew how it would all end, plot twist! Loved this story line. The cast was great, funny, witty and true to life. Definitely recommend for date night, girls' night or self-care night.

I thought the movie was good. It didn't turn out the way I expected it to be at the end but it taught me a lesson. It's important to communicate with those you love and don't let little negative things build up over time. I thought the acting was good on many parts and on others it was ok. Congratulations to Reggie Gaskins, Tricia Mann-Grant, Kiyano Le'vin and Kendyl McCray for this film. Reggie did his thing with the writing for this film and acting. Especially showing the flashbacks scenes for one of the characters. Kiyano my brotha was fun to watch. These are the type of movies that remind you to be humble and not get full of yourself.

First off, Trisha Mann-Grant is the business! Her performance is captivating, funny and emotionally complete as she takes us with her on the roller-coaster of finding out her spouse is going to leave her and then proves she's willing to do anything to force him to stay.

Reggie Gaskins performance is very funny. His reactions are pure comedy and will ring true to any man who 'thought' he was done with his current relationship only to find out, Hmmmm...

The script (written by Gaskins) is on par with any in the 'we've been together too long' genre. From "Malcolm and Marie" to "War of the Roses"; "Because We're Done" is a Masters Class in writing. How do you make a film with basically two people, keep it flowing, engaging and funny without it being weighted down with over spoken monologues?

Kendly McCray is a wonderful flower in the tapestry of the film. Her part is minimal but the lesson learned by her character, as delivered by Mann-Grant's "Erica", is as valuable as any message delivered in this piece. And trust me there is plenty of food for thought for both sexes.

"Because We're Done" is thought provoking and great ride for couples or the recently un-coupled. It's a great film to watch with your ex- especially if you don't want them to be an ex- anymore.

Okay, this tells a great story of what happens in marriages as time goes on.

Often, as we age and as marriages age insecurities and grow as things are not as new and not as fresh as they were in the beginning. Thus we sometimes feel we need to make drastic changes to renew or refresh ourselves and when that happens our spouse can pay the ultimate price and this film addresses that expertly and hilariously.

Trisha Mann-Grant is an absolute star and Kendyl McCray is a great actress on the rise. Reggie Gaskins is truly a gifted comedic actor.

All who are in a relationship and/or married should definitely watch this film.

Very good acting cast. Movie had a different take on going thru a midlife crisis and marriage highs and lo's using drama and comedy. Good date night movie. Would like to see more of Tricia Mann-Grant, Reggie Gaskins, Kiyano Le'vin and Kendyl McCray since they are really good actors. The movie made me laugh and it was really something I could see couples going through. Loved that the writer made the movie show a tough subject in a funny light without losing the heart of the movie. Everyone did such a good job that everyone needs to see this for comedy and therapy. Get out your popcorn and join Kiyano Le'vin eating popcorn and enjoy the show.

Every marriage has its share of ups and downs and Because We're Done highlighted them in a very captivating yet funny way. The actors nailed their respective roles and took the audience on an emotional journey from start to finish. The scene where Trisha Mann-Grant was pouring out her heart to her husband was so relatable and very reminiscent of your average marriage. The actor Kiyano Le'vin had me crying the entire time he was on set. His quick one-liners were packed with wit and humor and the fact that his only concern was eating popcorn while a lovers quarrel ensued was pure comedic genius.

This movie is a must see!

Exactly...this comedy will have u biting your nails while laughing in suspense while trying to figure out how this man will escape the clutches of a crazy ex..Whole watching it remember THE EX is still living in the 90's with her slang ...this makes it even more HILARIOUS once u watch it a second time.. The writing is excellent as usual Reggie Gaskins knocks it out the park with realistic comedy and screenplay. A MUST SEE YAL!

OMG!! E dubb lol.. and Erica. Trish Mann Grant totally gave me CRAZY!! I loved the dialog, Reggie is always amazing in his films, I love the concept and the humor, as a woman..we will fight for our man . 10 stars. "Looking all special" Be careful of a woman scorned! Great film..good seeing Kendyal. Two people having a moment and being real with their emotions. This movie had me laughing so hard, I can appreciate a good laugh and appreciate Erica's ghetto demeanor. Why do men mess with women at their jobs, that's so disrespectful. Erica had me crying hard with her "Okay" lol Keep the laughs coming.

After watching this movie, I went into the other room where my husband of long-standing was watching boxing. I said, "Pause it, please.

This guy wants to divorce his wife because she doesn't finish her sentences." He roared like I knew he would. That's one example of how real the writing is in this film. The cast is great...all wonderful actors. I thoroughly enjoyed it, the humor about a serious subject, but what surprised me is how refreshing it was to see this movie without having to wince at bad language every two seconds. I thought I had been desensitized to it, but when the absence became noticeable, I thought, "It can be done. Make a really good movie without all the expletives!" Kudos to the writer, director, actors and everyone involved. I'll be recommending it to my friends.

I was totally surprised by this movie! A great and well told story. I wasn't sure what to expect and really was a pleasure to watch. The storyline was very engaging and the actors were all excellent. I loved the Philly vibe. I could imagine many of my relatives speaking much of the dialogue. I was very impressed with the direction and how you are drawn into the lives of each character. The subject of midlife crisis and the toll on marriage is very relatable. They didn't have any easy answers but it made you think, how would I handle that? Life is messy and sometimes heartbreaking. But the movie helps us see there is growth in each situation if you look for it! Well done!

"Because we're Done" was such a great movie! It was very funny and I enjoyed the entire cast. Especially the character "Erica" played by Trisha Mann Grant. She was captivating, sexy, edgy, yet kept me laughing the whole time. Reggie also did a good job of writing and directing this masterpiece. He shined as the character Evan. Reggie and Trisha had amazing chemistry together on screen .I would love to see them both play opposite each other in the near future. I would definitely watch it again and spread the word. I truly loved the messages in the film and the challenges many couples go through.

This is one of the best romantic comedies that I've seen to date. The story line has more twist and turns than a winding road. It is truly refreshing to watch a movie that doesn't need the use of profanity.

The challenges of this marriage are dramatic and cute at the same time. It is thrilling to see a strong-willed woman actually fight for her marriage. While it's also truly refreshing while the husband acquiesces and humbled by love.

Because We're Done is a well written, enjoyable and inviting movie. Each are character was cherry picked for his/her particular roles.

I have rewatched Because We're Done and have suggested that all my friends do the same.
