Alice is doing some work, knitting baby clothes, to earn some Christmas money. Ralph jumps to the conclusion that she is pregnant. He and Norton decide they need some extra money, so they get jobs as Santa and an elf, but the kettle they are using is a means for people to make bets on horse races. Eventually, they get arrested because they don't know what is going on. They are thrown in jail with the prospect of going to prison. Some good moments.
