Sex & Nudity

  • Sexually explicit shots of girls showing their breasts with their sports bras, etc.. There's also gay stuff, but that isn't glorified, however. This song is anti-gay. A prison rapist shows his privates. Gay.
  • None for "A'Yo Kato."

Violence & Gore

  • For "Where the Hood At?," in the video and lyrics they're violent. The lyrics are graphically violent. But there are some brutal hood fights in the video, captured on real tape/DVD. We see one fight another and it's brutal. And the lyrics, of course, are graphic and violent. For "A'Yo Kato," no violence in the video but the lyrics are only mildly violent.

Profanity

  • Non-stop graphic use of the hard curse words - F-, D-(as in man's privates), and lesser curse words like the S-word. Lots of "*N***a"s. (For "Where the Hood at?"). None except for one or two "n***a"s in "A'Yo Kato"
  • Not for kids (for "Where the Hood at?")

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This song is intimidating, and the video is intimidating. Intense video. But that's in "Where da Hood at?" "A'Yo Kato" is one of DMX's very rare family-oriented songs, fitting for a fuzzy Hallmark movie. As it talks about loyalty and friends, but does have the menacing themes of the streets.
