ROBBIE AND THE OTHER WOMAN?
tcchelsey17 March 2024
This was done earlier, with Steve the center of attention with a mysterious woman. Remember? Now it's good brother Robbie's turn, seen in the company of a pretty young lady called Louise, played by Linda Miller. The rumor mill starts with Chip and Ernie, and watching it all snowball is fun.

Also, not to miss Uncle Charley battling city politics and starting a petition. No one could get bent out of shape better than Charley ---all the while Steve keeps his cool about everything. That's why we loved Fred MacMurray, and the bottom line to this story.

Without giving too much away.... the secret phrase is "surprise party." Love it, and it was kind of expected anyway.

Well written fluff by Dennis Whitcomb, who was series writer for DEATH VALLEY DAYS. There is not much bio information about Linda Miller, although she did make some tv appearances and was in the cult film KING KONG ESCAPES a few years earlier.

Look for funny character actress Barbara Morrison as Mrs. Murdock. Barbara played tons of classy ladies in her long career, best known as the mother superior in PAPILLON starring Steve McQueen. Ollie O'Toole plays the traffic department desk man, frequently in character roles. The actor you know, but forget his name.

Another salute to Robbie, who never let us down.

SEASON 9 EPISODE 20 remastered color.
