Pros:
Cons:
2. Same teen also leaves her laptop wide open while < 5 feet away from her rival to casually walk away for a chat with her friend (and the rival doesn't even try to look at it?!?!).
3. Another one involves the same teen passed out in a shady looking isolated underbridge, but her friend just happens to ride by and find her within a short time, despite never going to said location earlier in the movie.
4. After she is grounded and supposed to be continuously monitored by her mom, the teen is shown repeatedly wandering around aimlessly after school while smoking in a completely different part of town and nobody says anything about this???
- The ending worked well emotionally, and the basic story was relatable.
Cons:
- Many of the characters felt tacked on and played either minimal or unnecessary roles in the actual story (guidance councilor, mom's friend, etc.)
- The robotics team where a third to half of the team is on street drugs felt silly and unrealistic, and I could not take them seriously at all during the movie.
- Had a lot of unrealistic/cringy/facepalm moments:

- The daughter's positive relation with her dad is never shown, nor is it explained why she repeatedly genuinely believes he will show up to support her after he fails to do so multiple times in a row.
