Just like a lot of shows out there these days, they really struggle to find interesting younger actors to play the teenagers and students. Obviously it is easier to find more seasoned professionals as they have a body of work, but so many of these kids just lack personality and I will never end up learning their names.
But that doesn't mean the show is not doing a good job. We saw Jacon faltering coming from a mile away and it did not make that moment any less special.
