Archie and the gang might be ghost-toast by Quiet Violet!

Warning: Spoilers
Archie Andrews is in a bit of a slump when it comes to his column in the school newspaper. He has become a bit of a laughing stock, and is in desperate need of a good story. Reggie Mantle shows up in school with Mr. Weatherbee, seemingly shell shocked by an alleged ghost. His hair is white, and he's not his arrogant self. Archie sees it as an opportunity to solve another Weird Mystery. It turns out a poltergeist is haunting the school grounds, especially the library. It's a retired librarian known as Quiet Violet, haunting anyone who has overdue library books. Can Archie solve the mystery? And figure out why Quiet Violet is scaring the students of Riverdale away from the library? I have seen this episode countless times over the years, and it was one of my favorites. This was the first time I have seen it in many years, and surprisingly enough, I remembered much of the dialog. This one is pretty dark, and extremely atmospheric. Jughead's chase scene, involving Quiet Violet is especially memorable. This show has always had a bit of an edge to it, but this one is especially edgy. It also has many first for the series. Reggie acting scared, in lieu of being conceded was a first. Jughead focusing on something, other than food was also unusual. I really enjoyed Jughead's flashback story about Quiet Violet. It was neat to see such a young Jughead, doing something as nerdy as reading. I also liked how the mystery was solved. It's pretty heartwarming, and delivers a great message that reading is very vital, and should be encouraged everywhere. I consider it a must see for fans of this show

Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this episode from the beginning to the end it had the moments that were entertaining interesting and also emotional with a surprise at the ending. I really miss watching this show on TV when it first came out. I felt bad for Reggie and Jughead in this episode but I will admit it was funny seeing Reggie with white hair. He kinda looks like the actor Steve Martin with white hair. Reggie and Betty will always be my favorite characters on this show.
