The story line this episode was very relatable. I remember almost getting the talk when I was a teen myself from my mother xD. I think all of us go thru that when we're Dean's age. I like how TWY shows the mishaps of growing up as well as the joys. Plus love how it has these little parallels to the original but is different too. Remember Kevin having a similar issue to Dean but his parents reacted very differently than Dean's. Enjoying this version.

Time Placement of a cultural song. Beginning of episode title card said: "1964". But the song everyone was dancing to "Try A Little Tenderness by Otis Redding" was released "November 14, 1966". Must work at better matching of song content and time placement of story episode(s). Loving The Show!!!!!!!

I just started watching the show since I needed a new series to watch and I had heard good things about it. It starts off pretty slow but it seems to do a lot of things right. This episode is my least favorite out of the four I've watched so far because it promotes pornography as something 'good' and 'healthy' when it is a very harmful addiction. If this is a family show--a show that children his age is watching--such a thing should not be promoted or supported. Also, I found it unrealistic that his mother, a woman in the 60s, would not only be reading that magazine but confidently talking to her elementary grade son about it as if there was nothing wrong with it. Although now-a-days we are much more progressive, people were rather conservative during that time and that should resonate in the show.
