Great transition!

Still keeping a great pase! A great start to arc two, hoping the series keeps up and gets the same results from these episodes as arc 1. Interesting to imagine Vi and Jinx on their next part of life.

The characters are just incredible

Yes the animation and music are amazing, but for me it's the writing of Vi, Jinx and silco that really carries the show. They're all fully realised and fleshed out characters, especially jinx, and they are very engaging to watch.

Great start to the next chapter! Getting to see Jinx how we've all come to know her was amazing! Was nice getting to further explore Caitlyn's character and as always loved the stuff with Jayce. Great dialogue, cinematography and music as usual. Can't wait for the sisters to reunite!!! That ending scene has me hyped!!!

progress

Warning: Spoilers
The story, music, animation and voice acting are perfect like previous episodes. I wish we could see more exactly after the ep 3 ending like counselors' reaction or what happened to Vi, did she try to go back to powder or they sent her straight to prison, but with all of these the time jump was perfect and we might see those as flashbacks or not.

Amazing series so far

Greetings from Lithauania.

4th episode of "Arcane" called "Happy Progress Day!" was a great instalment and continuation of the story. After seeing 4 episodes now i highly enjoy this series so far. Animation is looking very unique and great. I do not watch lots of animation, but the style of this one i love, even if I'm not familiar with source material. Story and storytelling are amazing. Series are superbly written and directed. Running time of episode ~45 min. Runs like a wind - not a boring or dull moment for a second, no fillers to extend the running time and etc.

"Arcane" is amazing series so far.

Progress indeed.

Watching the characters develop in this show is entertainment all of its own.

Though this episode was not epic, as such, it sets the scene for Act Two very nicely, showing rather than explaining what has happened since we left off at the end of Act One.

What this show does really, really well is foreshadowing; there are soo many genius hints of what's to come buried in this episode despite its lack of fantastic action, pacing and plot that it becomes a pivotal moment in the show's direction from hereon out.

This episode feels like a new season's pilot (which is what it is to all intents and purposes) and a very, very solid foundation it builds, too, for Act Two.

Ooh boy, and... Jinx. She is adorable, beautiful yet horrificly broken.

She completely steals every single scene she is in.

Arcane is basically three AAA motion pictures each divided into triplets and served hot and spicy! Welcome to Act Two!

Steady development and perfect continuation
noisetanklaw3 December 2021
Characters are developed enough to introduce new conflicts to be resolved, making it a continuation to behold. The story could've perfectly ended in episode 3 but makes you happy it didn't. While dropping some of the most engaging nuances, it becomes even more exciting by exploiting more impactful themes. Now it drives into mandatory business because of source material, but manages to keep it entertaining as they fill in the blanks. Absolute perfect continuation.

A Good one!
ahmxii2 December 2021
After the 3rd ep I was expecting more from ep 4 but it didn't exceed my expectations.

Well, I think it's normal it happens all the times when you get through mind blowing episode, you start expecting more from the next.

For this episode it wasn't that bad, it was only good for me.

Exceptional Use of Colors!
Oktay_Tuna1 March 2022
I might be in the minority here but I didn't love the first two episodes, they were good but then episode 3 came and that was exceptional. That episode didn't so much with creativity, and it didn't need to. It played into emotions and it worked. This episode however uses very creative ideas. OMG Jinx! I mean every scene she is in is a masterpiece. Jayce stuff is good but it is simple, sometimes cliche and I understand we need those parts for the story to progress but every time Jayce was on the screen I wanted to see Jinx and Silco! The visuals are especially stunning, the use of the nightmares/hallucinations left me in awe. The bombastic vibrant colors exploding just like Jinx's "graffitis" The relationship between Silco and Powder is very compelling and the best part of the show. Just can't wait for Jinx to see Vi again, I am not familiar with the source material and don't know if Jinx is a villain or turns out to be a hero at the end but both ways Jinx is my protagonist.

Yes guys it's a father-daughter relationship it's just that jinx is very clingy to silco!
Neptune16523 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The one jjinx saw wasn't Vi, just a girl with pink hair from the fire lights, the one Cait meets in the prision at the end is Vi, she's been there all this years, after the eforcer, Marcus, took her. Yes, the relationship between Jinx and Silco is the daughter-father kind. It looks weird because Jinx's mentality doesn't match her looks. She clings to Silco like a 4 year old kid, which makes sense because that's all she is. She grew up, but all she gained all those years was craziness. I think the problem with Jayce is he's genuine but not authentic. He really believes that he came from nothing and is doing everything for the good of the world...but we see with Viktor that it's not really true. Viktor is the one who came from nothing, despite his disability, and is more committed to advancing the world. The way they deal with Jinx's mental status is so well done she relied so heavily on Vi in her childhood and rather than growing mentally and becoming independent she went from the tragedy of losing her family by her own hand and her own perceived abandonment and immediately attached herself to Silco goin from just being codependent on another person to adding on schizophrenia and arguing with her dead friends.

Big time jump
oham-6946913 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Already knew this time jump was going to happen, but Jinx being literally on the level of insanity as the Joker shocked me. And, another great episode. Some really dark stuff, definitely not a show for kids.

So disapointed After the cliffhanger in ep 3
nicofreezer10 March 2022
It was very disapointed to see the little girl already as a tall girl, i thought her turning to the dark size was going to be a long and interesting storyline, but no 5 minutes After the twist and cliffhanger in ep 3 , we Saw her facing her sister... Ok all this potential wasted, imagine how great it would have been to nuit up their meeting, also imagine the older sister searching for her young sister would have been some cool Épisodes, but no she is already tall and years have past without them telling us Apart from that i feel like im watching game of thrones as an animé, all talk , 99% of an episodes is talk talk talk, politicsl boring talk... Just a bit of actions guy please or if you dont want, just give us some good characters interaction like in épisode 1.

Great, but of course not as good as S1E3
reidyq13 December 2021
Great episode, once again an episode with a great ending, but it doesn't make the episode a masterpiece like the previous episode. In this episode, Piltover has new technology, and Jayce and Viktor weigh their next move. A familiar face re-emerges from Zaun to wreck havoc. It is a great plot and has GREAT creative writing, I have seen better shows but the writing on this show is too good! 8.4/10, better than the first 2 episodes, but worse than S1E3.

A new start
Trey_Trebuchet3 June 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Very fascinating place to pick the season back up.

I actually think the plot with Jayce and the magic are pretty interesting. I feel his conflict as well as Viktor's (who I am siding with right now). The politics around magic aren't necessarily deep or anything but I am quite intrigued, and given the title of the show, I'm sure it'll be quite pivotal in the end.

Powder (now Jinx) was not at all what I expected. She's kind of a psychopath? Her going on a murdering spree wasn't what I pictured going forward. I think the random emotional shifts and trauma are interesting and I still feel for her. I'll be very curious to see what it's like when she meets back up with Vi.

Caitlyn is also much more interesting now, and the end of the episode has me pretty giddy.

Overall, a great set-up for what's to come. Every scene and character interaction mattered and I'll be most curious to see where this series goes, because I genuinely have no clue!

As usual, animation, action and violence is all executed and directed really well!
