Really worth a watch

I was unsure of what I was going to see when I was first shown the film "Gourmet" but I was pleasantly surprised and ended up genuinely enjoying it.

The setting of the film really gave it a nice charm, the filmmakers did well to make their corner of London seem accessible as a backdrop, with characters that lended themselves to the plot, all having strong enough personalities to justify there input to the film.

The slightly off beat humour was refreshing, with only one or two of the comedic moments seeming slightly set up. The sex shop owner worked well as a strange source of advice but the awkward "uncle knobhead" mate in the pub stole the show as the source of the best laughs.

The film ended strongly with a nice connection made between very likable characters. All in all it comes together to make a great little short story, hunt this one down if you can.
