Great episode

The original wonder years is one of my favorite shows, I was hesitant with this show at first. This episode at the end made me say wow. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Ending

That ending...wow. The entire series has been incredible. At the same time episodes seem to pay homage to the original series while consistently creating entirely new stories within this new one.

This episode though; this one was probably the best so far. Again, that ending.

I'm not crying you are!!

This caught me off guard! I have been enjoying this show and the writing but this episode brought me full circle.

Watching the first episode of the original series (as a young boy) Winnies storyline broke my heart and the moment the ball dropped in this episode I was right back there!

This show is all about nostalgia and the feelings of being young.. JOB WELL DONE!!

Made even better by a surprising reference to the original Wonder Years at the end of the episode. What's funny is the commercial for this episode kind of gave it away but was also misleading at the same time.

Perfect television

Warning: Spoilers
Throughout the episode, I was enjoying the strength of the characters, the family, and thankful for the return of the older brother, rather than the typical someone dies in Vietnam story line. And then the ending. I'm not the one to cry much over fiction, but wow. That was rewarding and so worth it for anyone who watched the original show.
