The issue of discrimination within the gay community has never been so eloquently addressed as through this short movie which aims at exposing the prejudices that exist within the minds of certain social grouped who, ironically , have themselves been the victims of discrimination. This film is beautifully shot and the acting and plot are excellent. It also contains a surprise twist at the end which will keep audiences talking long after the movie is finished. I strongly recommend this film to anyone who is interested in the plight of marginalized sexualities as well as the way such a discourse intersects with issues related to race, sexuality, and gender.

Love and discrimination
wollygirl5 April 2010
This is a solid first try for director Scott Eriksson. Although not thematically novel, the film more than makes up for it with raw emotion. There is some well-placed grainy footage which serves as a metaphor for both anguish and longing, creating a rather ethereal atmosphere. There is also a juxtaposition of certain elements that seem to be profoundly intertwined, yet the film manages to maintain an elegant simplicity. The use of dramatic irony reinforces the feeling that love can sometimes leave us in an tangled web. I highly recommend seeing this movie--it stays with you. In its own way this little film shines.
Short Film Gem

A gem of a short film from first time Director Scott Eriksson. This film intelligently broaches the subject of what it is like to be a gay Asian in today's homosexual world. It also made me think about how suicide is prevalent in the gay world. This is a topic that is especially prevalent today. Additionally, I enjoyed the dream/fantasy sequences as they really seemed like an escape. There is a solid plot & excellent acting. Also, I feel the use of music helped tell the story. Let me say that again: excellent music throughout the short film! How about the ending? It left me wanting to know what happened? Will there be a continuation to the story or not? Time will tell.
