Michel Tremois gets much more than a restful weekend when he arrives at a country inn, a former château, with his attractive wife, Nadine, and mother-in-law. For starters, Michel wants towels for his bathroom, only to be told there are no towels available. Then, as the couple repair to the sauna, a stark naked woman joins them. Things at the hotel are bizarre, at best. This is going to be a holiday to remember! Michel will be in the course of the story involved in a crime which will implicate him unwillingly. At the same time, Nadine finally gets sexual satisfaction from an unexpected source.

The best thing in the film is Jean-Pierre Darroussin, a great character actor who is a chameleon, going from one film yo the next not repeating himself, a rare quality, indeed. Since his Michel is at the center of the action, M. Darrousin gets the best chance in which to shine. Judith Godreche appears as the sexually repressed wife of Michel. Josiane Balasco, a good comedian does not get much to do, a total waste, and a disappointment for the viewer.
