An improvement, but too little too late.

It's the day of the by-election, and the bomber has something big planned.

It's definitely dramatic and action packed, but unfortunately it feels like too little too late, had the previous few episodes been better, then this final part would have had so much more impact, unfortunately, after such a thin plot, with such thin characters, it just doesn't land.

Vicky McClure has carried this series all on her own, she has been so far ahead of everyone, by a mile. Warren Brown did at least get to show how good an actor he is, he was impressive here.

The mystery was absent, it was so easy to guess who was behind events, and the final conclusion was a little hard to swallow.

Such a shame, I had such high hopes after episode one, sadly it was downhill all the way after that.

A real disappointment, 5/10.

Warning: Spoilers
What a shocker. Karl Maguire was the bad guy. Who did not guess that?

John Hudson was set up. Apparently he was using the A-Z to track down the bomber. It was not entirely a convincing explanation.

Maguire's motives were also a bit rubbish. Something about a cover up over deaths of British soldiers in Afghanistan.

Race was not a motive, Maguire just used racists to do his dirty work.

Frankly Trigger Point could not muster being average in the end. The writing was bad. Vicky McClure struggled to carry the show on her own.
