A stilted period piece about a hood torn between his life of crime and the kind beauty with whom he falls in love, A New York Heartbeat is equal parts affected hardboiled posturing and starry-eyed schmaltz.
In 1959 Brooklyn, Spider (Escher Holloway) and his low-level crew — who all speak in New Yawk accents as phony as their second-rate West Side Story mannerisms — steal $10,000 from a crime boss (Eric Roberts). Casting for Richard Lagravenese‘s Beautiful Creatures has continued to gather steam, as Variety reports Margo Martindale (Justified), Zoey Deutch (Ringer) and Rachel Brosnahan (The Unborn) have joined the supernatural love story.
Based on Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl‘s popular series, Alcon Entertainment has already gained the film rights to all three of the books, with hopes of formulating a franchise at Warner Bros. Creatures is the first of the series and is written and directed by Lagravenese.
Jack O’Connell and Alice Englert star as Ethan and Lena, “teenage lovers who uncover dark secrets about their families, their history and their town.” The three newcomers are also welcomed by Oscar-winners Viola Davis, Jeremy Irons, Emma Thompson, and Emmy Rossum and Project X’s Thomas Mann. Frat House Massacre Rane Jameson is a young up and coming actor born on November 7th which makes him a Scorpio. Scorpio's are always the quiet, mysterious ones that have a slick facade in which their hiding some ulterior motive or got something going on inside their head. So it's no wonder that he has a quiet, brooding intensity about him on screen. Even when his character is quiet and doesn't have much to say, you can see there is something going on inside his head and you just want to pick apart his brain to figure out what secrets he is hiding. It's no wonder that Rane Jameson was able to hold his own against Jon Fleming in Frat House Massacre. With Frat House Massacre, Jon Fleming had the flashy role, the stand out role.
