I had the pleasure to join the movie premiere in Miami and had the opportunity to meet most of the actors and the crew. Equal Strength proves that great movie making is possible without big Hollywood budgets. Creativity and networking should be used more often to create movies outside the mainstream production circuit. A movie with a heart which def. surprised me in it's making and the way the actors developed their own roles embedded in a story based around a crime scene involving a family insurance business for animals. If you don't point your fingers on tiny little hick-ups and see where the movie is coming from you should def. watch it. Most of the mainly yet unknown actors did a great job and convinced me in the way they gave life to their characters and the story. Especially the casts of Dr. Martinez, the spoiled daughter Eva Williams, Eva's alcoholic mother Maggie, Taylor and the company boss Charles. Ika Santamaria put a lot of heart-blood and work in this movie and her vision became alive in Equal Strength. Support the independent film makers

I went to see EQUAL STRENTH at the premier and i was able to meet most of the actors and there are excellent every body was having a good time,then we all watched the film. The story line is great something real and interesting not the usual same boring story that goes over and over in most the latest movies, this is not the case trust me a lot of action and drama too so every one got something out of it even some comedy. I recommended seriously this is the type of film that people identified with and been an independent film you will be surprise of the quality of the movie and the acting is great i specially identified with the role of Lorenzo Sanchez played by actor Elioret Silva. This film is worth watching so look for it and do it you thank me later.

This independent film is a must see movie. It has a good storyline and a message at the end of the movie. The actors did a great job. It was very believable. Lorenzo Sanchez played by (Elioret Silva) was quite entertaining and remarkable. This actor did great in all his scenes as well as the others. The budget for the movie was amazing because it was very low budget yet the scenes and audio was outstanding. If you are into animal saving or just love watching independent films then this movie is a must see. Entertaining throughout the movie no boring parts at all. Please support this independent film it is worth watching and you are guarantee to laugh and be entertained! Enjoy.

This film contains everything you would want in a movie. Romance, intrigue, a great plot, beautiful animals and an amazing cast. The actor that plays Lorenzo Sanchez really kicked butt, he was my favorite character and I can identify with him. I recommend this movie to anyone and everyone. If you want to be in for a real treat..watch this movie! Great movie for the whole family. Mild violence and mild language. You will feel drawn into the movie and you're along for the ride! The movie was shot in very scenic parts of Miami, so you feel you are part of the movie, truly phenomenal! My husband and I were highly impressed with the cast of great actors in the movie. Two thumbs up!

I love the sound track it made the movie come to live!! I think this Independent film is better than many movies that cost millions to do. Please let us know if you're going to play it again in theater or if it's going directly to DVD. My favorite character was Lorenzo Sanchez the police officer he reminded me of Mel Gibson's acting in Lethal Weapon that he became a bad guy to be able to get the bad guys. This Cuban actor had charisma and personality he made everyone understand him and be motivated to see what happens….Love his fight scenes they looked real and in most Impendent Film they usually don't…His partner did great too but another favorite actor was the lady that had a drinking problem in the movie I forgot her name but wow that lady can act too she also made us understand the character…Best movie I've seen this year... Can't wait to see it again I definitely recommend it to all my friends!!!

Originally when i went i thought this movie being an independent film was going to be a waste of my time...BUT to my surprise I LOVED IT!!! I loved the story about the animals and how insurance companies forget to think about the animals an concentrated more in the BUSINESS of it all..Great heart touching story..Its PG-13 so even your kids can go see it and enjoy it...The actor did great but out of all of them I have to say I thought the Cuban Cop played by Elioret Silva who's name in the movie is "Lorenzo Sanchez" was one of the best. I like that he has an accent like most of us Cubans and he was trying to do justice, he had to try to befriend the bad guys to finally get them at the end..He made us Cubans proud..I search his Burn Notice "when there's smoke" episode which he also did a really good part.. My favorite part is when he gets thrown through the wall..but getting back to this movie another great actor or actress I should say is the mother that drank a lot she gave a lot of facial expressions and made us understand her..she was all about her family....I think this should be nominated FILM OF THE YEAR!!!!!!Let me know when it will play again.. :)

The movie was a great success! I thought it was exhilarating how each one of their lives connected to each other in the end. Especially the two police officers, how they would always argue and make it look like good cop bad cop. Great Independent film. They Should make more films like this one. The camera work was clean, great fight scenes. I really liked the role of Lorenzo Sanchez! The actors that played the roles couldn't have done a better job. Everything was great and the movie always kept you out of your seat wanting more of it. Im amazed they were able to make this production with such a small budget. I will recommend to friends and family!
