Nicholas is desperate to interview Sir Anthony Blunt, believing he knows a lot more about Kim than he made out, Nicholas faces an uphill battle now that Lily has been removed from the case.
Intense, gritty and revealing, finally this show offers some of what I was hoping it would.
This really was an improvement, I've struggled with this series since the start, I've found the pacing too slow, the actually storytelling laboured, this penultimate episode however was so much better, after four episodes of going round the houses, things finally start happening.
It feels as though we're at the point now, where everyone's cards are revealed, we now know who's on which side, and people are running out of hiding places. For all concerned, there is nowhere to run.
Mrs Thomas, I'm still not totally sure how I feel about the inclusion of her character, I just can't make my mind up.
I truly hope the final episode builds on this one, finally it's heading in the right direction.
8/10.
