The National Cattlemen's Association threatened a boycott and as result PBS and Audubon caved in and stop showing the film. PBS stopped showing any films from this producer so as to avoid any controversy in the future.
These organizations are not alone as the Sierra Club now promotes "green ranching" which is on par with "clean coal". The Nature Conservancy continues to run cattle on the lands it is managing and not halted the destruction of the land and the loss of wildlife habitat.
