portrait of a saint
Vincentiu1 April 2013
testimonies about one of greatest men of Serbian XX century. emotion, words, images from a hard battle for faith. and silhouette of a monk. his courage. his work. his resistance against mediocrity and evil. a documentary. special for its slices of silence. for love and respect for Father Justin. for delicate manner to remind steps of a saint before his canonization. way of a biography, the film is, in same measure, an admirable definition of Orthodoxy.window to Balkans out of usual stereotypes. so, a touching portrait. profound, precise, fresh and direct. honest and wise. a moral lesson about dignity and duty. about hope and joy. map to God will. in fact, a pray. and answer to desire to become yourself.
