A fantastic educational resource for all budding Italian speakers

I absolutely loved this drama, the suspense of watching the relationships between characters rise and fall was magnificent. The cinematography was marvellous and quite frankly I would nominate several of the actors for Baftas at the very least with maybe a Oscar for Renata given the quality of her fine performance. Anyway I digress, the purpose of this documentary is of course to learn Italian, and that I did. I now feel confident to ask for tea, coffee or even pasta from a shop assistant out in Italy and this added confidence will undoubtedly spread into other areas of my Italian speaking life. If I could give you one piece of advice when it comes to learning Italian, use this resource, you won't regret it. Additionally after every single video there is an interactive scene (if you are using the equally superb online website from BBC) where you can soak up yet more vocabulary. If you complete all of these games you unlock the famous episode 13 where there is some comedy magic, especially at 27 seconds. I was on the floor for what seemed like forever, it was absolutely hilarious! Overall this is a spectacular piece of cinematic and educational wizardry. I just want to thank Renata, Marco and even Paolo. Yes I know you were the bad guy but I don't think you're really bad. I probably would have gone to equal measure to get my hands on that recipe! I can only see this show going from strength to strength. Buzzing for series 2. Good work guys, keep it up
