If you've come this far...

If you're on this episode, and you are properly caught up, there is no reason to leave a poor review. This show, this episode, has made me laugh so hard, and you just couldn't if you don't love the show for 15 seasons. This show owes us nothing, and still pushes for more.

The Power of Murdoch Compels You!!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Okay...now things are really getting up to an even bigger personal level than before.

I mean yes Wiiliam and Julia have dout with many serious personal issus through out their life in the earlier seasons.

But I think this one takes on a much more bigger and deeper tone and feel to it.

Plus I thought the side plot with George.and Effie hunting for a alien portal seemed quite interesting.

My only note was that at the end of the episode Murdoch told his wife Juila and I quote... (I seem to have made a deal with the devil and I broke it).

That line had me confussed a bit because i wasn't sure what he ment when he said that, and through out my time watching the entire series I never seem to recall there being any some point in the show where he actually had made a deal with anyone before up until now. I could be wrong but thats just my beleaf.

Despite that one minor nitpick, this first part of the Season 15 finale was still great in my opinion.

Whatever is gonna happen next in Part 2 when it comes out I will be prepared for it.

Subtle Nod to past loves
labenji-121631 August 2022
Let me start by saying how I thought the subtle nods to Crabtree's past loves was a nice touch, beginning with Murdoch and Julia discussing Dr. Grace's congrats on the baby and Julia confirming she mentioned George's upcoming nuptials, to the Inspector mentioned Edna not being prosecuted for her husband's death, to the sign in the window behind Watts in his friend of an upcoming reading by Lucy Montgomery to the poster put up in Mrs. Hart's salon of Nina Bloom's performance, was all a nice touch.

Next up: I'm not really certain if Yannick was directing himself in the first half of this episode, but his acting was off to me. Early on he look like he was trying to keep from laughing, considering someone was trying to kill him, his demeanor just seemed to blasé. However, his acting became a bit more true to character as the episode progressed.

Lastly, Johnny Harris' voice has gotten hoarse throughout this season, and his character seems a bit more subdued he has lacked the energy and naivete that was such an endearing part of his character. It almost feels like he is no longer into playing George Crabtree.

In his defense, I will say Johnny has been playing the same character for 15 years, and people grow and expand and so should the characters, so perhaps he is just projecting a more mature version of the Character, considering all the twist and turns his character's life have taken it isn't realistic that he would still be our naive bugalugs.
