Mediocre episode for landmark episode
Saving219 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was supposed to be special, 300 episodes is landmark in TV. But this episode was falling flat. First thing I loved the characters scenes with Sam&his dad, Callen& Arkady was funny as always, we need more Arkady, even the Kensi/Deeks scene with the refugees was good. The character stories are interesting. But that's the only thing I liked. The story of the week was weak, yea it was the second story but it still should be good tale. I didn't care about Fatima&Roundtree or Shila&Kilbride the focus should have been on the four main characters and they should have been in Action alone. Also did they really need Shila&Kilbride? Didn't NCIS LA have REACT team in standby when they need help??! And Oops centre was always high tech place that only few people can run it like Eric&Nell, they probably would have find a way to see the place, now everyone can run oops?

In the final scene we should have seen Sam Callen Deeks&kensi together, this was the 300 episodes the show works because of the family the characters created, the montage was stupid. This is post covid and the show is still fragmented.

Subpar for # 300

1 star each, for Callen and Arkady. 4 more for Grumpy Killbride. (Once again, he saves an otherwise boring episode.)

The rest of the episode is just filled with personal drama, & the the same old stereotypical woke tropes.

Work & Family

Warning: Spoilers
We are not getting many great episodes of this show any time soon, but we can at least get fairly entertaining ones and we got that here tonight.

Yes, there are concerns about the overtly political tone we have been getting the last few years, and Kilbride throwing in a line every once and awhile about being a gun owner is not enough of a balance, but I don't care about that at this point. TV has gotten so far in one direction that NCIS: Los Angeles still has a lot of catching up to do. What I do care about is fun premises and shootouts and like it or not at least we got that much in tonight's episode.

3 Stars just about

Warning: Spoilers
Starts off well with an action explosion but then quickly tails off. The scene with Callen and Arkayde was fun, but writers are still pushing the BLM card with Roundtree and now an immigration sideline with Deeks and Kensi. It's just recycled trash that is spewed out. I can already see the Dementia story with Sam getting tiresome.

CBS strikes, again!
JasonSterling299 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
As soon I saw the plot for SWAT season 5 episode 20 I knew CBS had influenced this episode which is the show's 300th episode and sure they might have influenced many other episodes but this was not the time to do it.

As a big fan of the show, it's a shame the show couldn't express itself in a way fitting for 300 episodes. We had to get a plot influenced by the powerful people who want to give messages they want you to see. I'm not against messaging in shows but considering they put the same message in the show that aired after NCIS:LA is overkill. They also did that the previous week with NCIS:LA&Hawaii that plot was centered around holding gun manufacturers to account.

I'm not naive to think that ghost guns don't pose a problem to Law Enforcement and victims' families but it just wasn't a fitting plot for the 300th episode.

Oh look.... Ghost Guns...
MasterChief719 May 2022
CBS is once again showing yet another GHOST GUN show....

GHOST GUNS are NOT ILLEGAL unless they are a FULLY AUTOMATIC...

Are ghost guns legal in the US?

An unfinished receiver - sometimes referred to as an "80-percent receiver" - can be legally bought online with no serial numbers or other markings on it, no license required. Police across the country have been reporting spikes in ghost guns being recovered by officers. Apr 11, 2022.

Joe Biden takes fresh aim at ghost guns, the privately made firearms without serial numbers that are increasingly cropping up, as he struggles to break past gun-control opposition to address firearm deaths.

Looks like CBS and other TV/Media are trying to push his lame ANTI-GUN Agenda!

If this show gets any more "woke" . . .
When NCIS Los Angeles had Linda Hunt and Gabriel Ferrer the writers seemed to have a lot of storylines to explore that made the show really riveting. Now it is "white" insurgents, dirty "white" cops, righteous illegals and not much else. If the producers and show runners want to keep this up they will lose badly.

No backup
danmunger1516 May 2022
Always going in without backup or a reaction force. I know it's fiction, but come on, make it realistic. It is getting woke, too. I might cancel this after this season. Starting to look like a comedy show.

What's happening to a good action series???
maxaira10 May 2022
I've been watching all of the NCIS series from day one including L. A., and it's the first time that one of them have gone from action and catching the bad guys to almost literally a visit to the "Brady Bunch". If this is the best that the writers can come up with perhaps a solid "30" should bring it to a close.
