This is a documentary which has some re-enactments of the events discussed. It concentrates on three particular women who were convicted of using poison to kill people in post World War II Sydney, Australia. During this period of time there were many instances of people using this kind of poison on others. Perhaps the three women represented here were the most notorious or something...one of the women poisoned a rugby league player...this is the highest profile sport in Sydney...at least as far as football codes go.
Especially interesting for me was the case of a man who, in these deprived times, received a gift of food from a woman he suspected of being a poisoner...the gift was something highly desirable. Would his reservations be overcome by the desirability of the gift? Hmm...could have sworn I read something by Plato which mentioned the concept of a delicious poison.
Anyway, an interesting documentary. Recommended.
