First off, the cinematography is absolutely stunning. The use of high definition black and white sets the mood and pace of the short. I found the film itself to be compelling, and left me wondering the full meaning behind this short is. The only negative, its not long enough! I would have liked to have seen the character development from start to end. What stuck with me moments after the film was the segment with the book closing itself. This powerful metaphor was well placed. This short certainly deserves a screening, and perhaps a revisit to expand the story line. I look forward to seeing more from this director/writer as I believe he has a future in the film industry.
