Most so-called porn parodies merely ripoff the concept of a mainstream movie, or just its title, but Jim Powers' take on the 1978 John Carpenter hit actually stays near the original action. It's certainly better than Gus Van Sant's copycat remake of Hitchcock's "Psycho".
The sex scenes are mixed with some convincing violence, as Michael Myers' saga unfolds in straightforward fashion. Lily LaBeau is excellent as the heroine Laurie, and Powers also gets good acting (and humping) performances from Andy San Dimas, Lexi Belle, Britney Amber and the beauty Raven Alexis, last-named cast as Myers' sister. End credits misspell all the Myers characters as Meyers.
