Unfortunately it isn't a good start, it's awful.

Guy Hubble is promoted to Royal Bodyguard after saving the Queen from a bizarre situation, however in his first assignment he proves less than competent.

If you watch sitcoms, you'll know exactly who penned this, within minutes, sometimes they got it spot on, sometimes they didn't, this time, they got it horrendously wrong. Worst week of my life, class, this was painful.

Maybe I was a little grumpy watching this, but nothing landed, it was as if everything was a little forced, a little overdone, simply put it was about as funny as stepping on a piece of lego.

I adore Sir David Jason, but here he's pretty woeful, it simply doesn't work. The one shining light here is Geoffrey Whitehead, he's cutting and sarcastic as you'd expect, and his dry delivery works very well.

I will stick with it, as I'm sure it cannot get any worse, 3/10.
