Wimpy fantasy, set in a hair salon
lor_25 June 2023
Using the fake name "Cleo Edwards", Paul Thomas produced and directed "Blow Dry", unrelated to the 1970s porn classic by the name, but instead a forgotten Jenteal vehicle released back in the VHS era by VIvid's Wave subsidiary. It's an intriguing but vapid surreal exercise.

Set entirely at a hair salon run by blonde Morgan Fairlane, it's a series of erotic fantasies, day-dreamed by T. T. Boy, who's a customer and sort of a voyeur, too. Taking advantage of the sensual possibilities of getting one's hair cut, with soothing female fingers washing the hair before snipping, it's merely a series of XXX scenes strung together by being in T. T.'s imagination. Romantic music plays, and PT tries for a moment of emotion at the end when Fairlane informs T. T. that his dream girl, her employee Jenteal, is simply "gone", but assures him he'll inevitably find "another girl" is hardly sincere, more of PT making fun of/apologizing for his mindless porn exercise.

Besides Fairlane humping her husband Mr. Marcus, we get to see Jenteal the hairdresser/dream girl having lesbian sex with superstar customer Kobe Tai and Billy Glide getting a threesome. Mark Davis pops up in the barber's chair and yammers a bit about his Harley motorcycle, and T. T. horns in on Davis humping Jenteal, for another threesome.

Sex is performed bareback, except Jenteal's scenes mandate use of condoms, hardly conducive to the fantasy PT is trying to present, jjust a matter of talent's demands.
