Twisted Metal absolutely seems to be peaking at the right time and getting fans and viewers invested in how it all wraps up. They teased another wild and chaotic fight and hope that this lines up with what the video game is and what people expected when they heard the show was picked up.
It was a little bit ridiculous for them to blatantly walk into this trap though. John and Quiet had to know that regardless of whatever backup they may have had that they were going to be ountumbered and were going to be put in a really difficult situation. Oh well, I am sure they'll survive and some comedy and violence will ensue.
