As a southerner, certain foods take on a comfort status. Sure we fry things, chicken wings at the top of the comfort food chain. Be it sporting events or guys night out, nothing is better than chicken wings and beer. Matt Reynolds is a reporter and moves to Slovakia and shares his home town recipe with his new friends. Since he hails from Chicken Wing country region in New York state. I must admit I learned a thing or two about wings, that they are fairly recent creation and that Buffalo Wings actually come from Buffalo, New York. After feeling nostalgic for his home town, Matt decides to go on an odyssey and find the world's best chicken wing. He brings together a crew and off they go. Several themes run throughout the course of the movie, the social aspect of eating wings, his evolving relationship with his girlfriend, and how regardless of how crazy your dreams might seem, don't be afraid to go after your dreams. I saw this film as part of the Atlanta Film Festival.
