I am one whom likes to give a all Black Star Movie a chance. And this I did. IMDb usually rates All Black Movies a lower score then they deserve. This movie had a rating of 3.2 so I decided that it would at least be as good as a 5.5 or 6. Boy, was I wrong this movie sucked. I mean if your some horny woman looking for a cheap thrill. Then sure great a bunch of men walking around in there drawls. Whom, can't act but how could they the story had no dialogue. Barely any lines to the movie for the actors to even try to act. The hot Mistress chick whom looks younger then she is. Nope, she looks old and hot she is not. However, through the long 1 1/2 hours I watched this movie that felt like 3 hours. The end of the movie was OK I guess. But, really I literally wasted my life these 75 or so minutes. Oh, my god this movie is horrible. It even had two, five minute shower scenes with men showering. Horrible, Horrible. I felt like I had to check to see if I was still a straight man after watching it. I hoped and begged for someone to get killed or die or something. Thriller my butt. Really, and they said they had a million dollar budget for this crap. Please, if you will spend that much on this crap. Please give me 20,000 dollars and I will upload a hour video of my kids playing. And guaranteed through there play and childish banter, you will be more entertained then this crap.

For those who took part in this movie, sorry but it is the truth. However, the butler guy's acting was OK.

I love to give black movies as chance. Even with the low review I thought couldn't be that bad. Was I wrong. The movie drags on and no real action to speak of . The shower scene are way too long and for as long as the were the guys ued no soap they literally should you 2different guys almost 3-5 min of each in the shower cupping water running it over their bodies. Then some of the other scene were just as long like ftge were filler scene if you cut out the padding of scene this is a 30min movie at best. There's so much more could have been done.

I liked this film. I admit, I am a Dave DeCoteau fan, although I had not seen one of his films in a long time. His films are not for everyone. He has single-handedly created a niche market for homo-erotic horror, and has done it very well. This film looks great. The location is astounding, and is a character in itself. The men are gorgeous (of course) although only one of them, Preston Davis, is a professional actor. Some of the others are quite good (Quincy Ndekwe and Jerrell Pippins); others not so much (no names, please). I doubt the budget was anywhere near what IMDb says it is, but the film does look great. I suspect a hefty part of the budget when to hair and make-up for Trina Parks, gowns for Miss Parks, stylist for Miss Parks. She's the only one besides Preston Davis who gets to wear any clothes. The "plot" of the film could fill a running time of 5 minutes, but that's the not the point of a DeCoteau film. DeCoteau is very good at what he does, and this movie doesn't disappoint. Sure, some of the action happens off-screen and the middle is a little slow, but I would watch it again. Note to the director: there is a reason why Miss Parks hasn't done a picture in 36 years. What next? A vehicle for "Bambi?"
