Thoroughly enjoyed this. Up until this point, there were lots of doubts expressed as to whether the London 2012 Olympics would be any good; after this there were hardly any negative comments.
Did wonder whether people from other countries would have understood all the references, for example the Only Fools and Horses Reliant Robin with batman and robin bursting out. However, other opening ceremonies have contained country specific references too, so nothing different there. Danny Boyle did a top-rate job.
First time I've seen humour used in the opening ceremony to such good effect. I will be watching it again.
