The coaches separate their teams into four groups of three artists each, and the first five groups compete in the ring for a place in the Battle rounds, with the coaches deciding who wins, who loses and who they will save from elimination. The final four artists take to the stage for a solo performance and a duet with their coach, then the voting lines are closed and the two artists with the least votes are eliminated from the competition. The viewers are then given an additional vote to cast on the final two before the artist with more votes is revealed, crowned The Voice of Australia for 2019 and gets to perform their winner's song. 5 Seconds of Summer make a guest appearance.
