admirable
Kirpianuscus23 January 2023
Two basic virtues define this admirable crafted short film :
  • the inspired perspective about dementia ;
  • the beautiful job of Gene Smith.

It is a realistic image of reactions, fears, frustrations, insecurity of loved ones and their angry , having as source deep helpless to help, maybe understand or accept the delicate condition of loved one.

All is fair, precise and touching reflected.

The end, maybe too idealistic and comfortable , unrealistic in some measure, has the gift to propose the hope. And, in some measure, a precious lesson about love and its need in troubled situations.

In short, a seductive, bitter, gentle portrait of elderness affected by dementia.
