Man, this episode gave me CW Season 6 vibes...
poseyfan9 February 2023
A fantastic conspiracy episode reminiscent of the Fives Arc in The Clone Wars. Some familiar faces show up, and there's a haunting and foreboding atmosphere. The Senate is technically still intact, but they're more pawns than anything. There a still some good senators, but it's mostly just a committee talking big but not taking action for moral advancement.

The Bad Batch (not even Crosshair) don't even show up in this episode; I have no complaints. I mean, it is slightly disappointing that the thing I get the least enjoyment out of is the namesake of the show.

Great episode. I'll give it a 9/10.

Intense and thrilling!

This was yet another great and much needed episode! This show does a great job of shows us more pieces of the puzzle and building upon what happened in the movies as well as the other Star Wars shows!

This episode reminded me of when Fives learned the truth about ordet 66! It is dark and intense and you don't know who to trust or who to turn to! The clones also gets love and attention! Just like Clone wars we get too see it all from their perspective!

Animation in this show is also great and that goes for all episodes! It is clear they keep improving It just like in The Clone Wars! Soundtrack is also amazing! Really adds to the intensity.

Greatest episode yet !

Warning: Spoilers
The Clone Conspiracy is an absolute banger ! It finally adresses the important questions and dives right into the aftermath of the Kamino incident. Rex comes in at the perfect moment, right when you expect him to walk in. Senator Chuchi comes back at the forefront as a familiar and endearing presence.

A Clone named Slip sees the errors in Rampart's ways and shows a great deal of conscience. The pieces are moving and the Senate holds debates. We get talks about the military force and wonder what happen when the Clones grow too old. It was fantastic to see the Senate in full presence again. We also wonder who that mysterious sniper was.

What are the Empire's plans concerning the Clones going forward ? What'll happen of them ? Overall, solid episode diving into the bulk of the story post Order 66, and also exploring the consequences of the Kamino destruction.

Debates of pensions have never been so fun
kjavery-2432118 March 2023
I remember in the Clone Wars one of my favourite arcs is about banking conspiracies, so the fact that I'm enjoying conspiracies about pensions in this show isn't that surprising.

I love that we're getting an answer on what happened to the clones. I feel like large parts of the Bad Batch are formulaic and don't fully explore the era they are in, instead feeling like generic Star Wars. Then there are episodes like this, and the crosshairs one earlier in the season that are all about the vibes of the time it takes place in. Darker, grittier, following up on characters we haven't seen since the Clone Wars and seeing their reactions to the Empire.

While I would prefer all the episodes t be like this, I get that the Bad Batch is supposed to get kids involved in Star Wars and will usually stick to it's low tension adventures. That said I would eat up an entire tv show of stuff like this.

This couldnt have got any better

Warning: Spoilers
The opening shot of this episode is one that i want to see over and over again. I need this to be my desktop background with the capital with Venator class star destroyers watching over the day to day.

With all of this in the wake of the destruction of Kamino we find this story opening up on 2 clones taken out by a lone gunman that has to be Crosshairs to keep this Clone Conspiracy at bay. The new design of the assassin just keeps leading to questions. This is fast becoming a story that is going to need to be watched for any star wars fan to understand the full timeline of events after order 66.

The topics that come up in the senate chamber and its great to see Bail Organa along side Sharon Duncan-Brewster's Senator Palmo with one of the best introductions in the early series of the clones wars Senator Chuchi! With the new recruitment act being discussed are we seeing the final moments of the clone troopers in official duty?

How can one clones voice be so recognizable in a sea of the same voice. Broken communications and we still know who it was, I hope that Rex returns to be a mainstay in this series again. The most interesting stories are the ones without the Bad Batch in them.

This really was one of the best episodes that they could have produced after last weeks with lots of nostalgia but still making sure that a story is being throw forward. More episodes like this could lead to this series to be something very special in star wars.

Unbelievable! Clone Wars is back again with another picture perfect episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Wow! Star Wars The Bad Batch's Sixth Episode "The Clone Conspiracy" has everything a phenomenal clone wars episode needs, a of tension thriving plot, masterclass music from the hands of Kevin Kiner and the storytelling we all love from the original show. Dave Filoni did it again, he pulled off the next miracle. If they want to deliver perfection they do it!

This episode continues the plot of a clone revolution within the empire. Since the second episodes ending I guessed they will go into this direction, the third episode gave me proof and after the seventh it is without a doubt the way they are going. And it's so great, because it's logical. The destruction of Kamino, the clone's home, had consequences and now they begin to stand up for themselves.

This is of course also a lesson for life: The supression many minorities had and have to suffer over the whole world is a relevant topic. This show criticises that and therefore educates our children the democratic ways. It was always rhe biggest strenght of The Clone Wars not only being picture perfect entertainment, but giving important lessons to children and even adults. It is heartwarming to see that Filoni keeps going with that attitude!

And I also want to mention how they achieved enormous nostalgia by putting old characters like the senator bakc onto the screen. It shows that they have not forgotten about anything. For me it was an excourse into my childhood and therefero I want to thank you Lucasfilm and especially you maestro Dave Filoni!

This was a great part 1 of this arc

Warning: Spoilers
So this was our first episode without any members or former members of the Batch, but it was pretty great. Clearly we are going to see a clone uprising of sorts and the state of the galaxy/senate, as well as the Batch. This series feels more akin to the Clone Wars then season one with an anthology type feel. Senator Chuchi returned as she attempted to help the clones initially post-retirement, before realising the wiser conspiracy at large. It was very interesting to see the Senate, post Revenge of the Sith, still operating sort of, but very clearly dictated. Captain Rex coming back as a smuggler for rebel clones was cool, and I'm interested to see more of his time between now and where he ended up in Rebels. A very enjoyable and interesting 1st part, lets see what part two brings.

Only bad part of The Bad Batch is.. the Bad Batch
sevskirita13 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Wow, the difference between this episode and an episode just two prior is stark. It's clear that the creators of this show could actually not give less of a excrement or have no idea what to do with its main characters. While the Bad Batch flounders around with some of the worst interpretations of treasure hunter and underdog racer tropes, episodes dealing directly with the fallout of the Clone Wars without involving the Bad Batch at all contains some of the best Star Wars content we've gotten.

And it makes sense, really. If Filoni wanted to tell a story of the fallout of the Clone Wars with a specific focus on how it affected the clone army and the Separatist remnants, it makes sense to follow Rex and bigger institutional players like Rampart while allowing the Bad Batch to have a more grounded look at the clone reaction to Order 66, how they incorporate into the galaxy outside the army, and showing that galaxy.

However, it's clear now that Filoni is far less interested in the Bad Batch themselves, and it's frustrating to see. If Filoni or the team don't give a hoot about the direct center of the show, hire someone who does or push through it. If you do not have anything interesting to say with the Bad Batch for a part of the story, cut. Them. Out. Yes people will joke because you didn't have the forethought to title your show something more fitting than the name of a squad who fairly often simply doesnt show up for entire episodes, but better that than spending 50+ minutes in the middle of the season filling up time with empty storylines that could've been full to the brim with stories about the consequences of The Clone Wars.

It is astounding and embarrassing that Star Wars creators nowadays have absolutely no problem in phoning in entire multiple episodes just because the topic doesn't interest them.

But right, back to this episode. It's awesome to get such a focus on the fallout of the Clone Wars, especially when it gives such keen attention to details like the fact that these clones actually want war because they've been so manipulated. Riyo Chuchi is a great character that I'm glad to see lead this outing, and the story and intrigue about Kamino is right on the money. Only problem I have is in some of the details, such as no real explanation as to why characters don't do things such as Chuchi choosing not to try to contact Coruscant police when the assassin has her and her team backed into a corner.

A believer...

Warning: Spoilers
Here we GO!

Like others are saying, very reminiscent of the darker, moodier episodes of The Clone Wars, the episodes that really put that show on the map. It is akin to the Fives arc from Season 6, and it's just as good honestly. It's violent and actually very interesting. I like how it expanded further upon the clones' (presumable) extinction.

I kind of love Senator Chuchi. She's easy to root for obviously, but also just kind of a likable person and character. It was nice seeing other familiar faces as well, in a way that didn't feel tacked on nonetheless.

The Bad Batch are absent once again. Really looking forward to them getting connected to this plot. Surely we won't be spending the entire series with them doing adventure-of-the-week quests.

Also, great ending.
