Trivial but entertaining

I have no illusions about Roy Karch, one of the least talented directors from Adam & Eve's golden age 20 years ago. Here he deals simply with a simple script of his own, and the talent on screen saves his bacon.

Kylie Ireland is quite comfortable in the lead role of a madam running a brothel out of her own palatial home. Her hubby Steve Hatcher is none too pleased, but he'll have to live with it, as Kylie is a force difficult to oppose on screen, especially when the movie is her vehicle.

Karch makes prostitution seem pleasant, thoroughly idealized here, right down to the johns handing over a few twenties after being serviced, as nonchalantly as if they're paying their barber after getting a quality shave & haircut. The atmosphere of sweetness and light surprised me, but satisfied me too, as Kylie's unusual supporting cast of femmes all put on a fine skin show.

Of special note is Elizabeth X, a wonderful mature performer whose sex scene with a gigolo on Kylie's payroll (long-dicked Joel Lawrence) turns out to be just an erotic fantasy, but she is an immensely appealing actress. Mickey G. is thrown into the mix as what I thought would be a nominal villain, but he turns out to be merely a curious neighbor who is quite happy to be service by the madam of the house herself.

Cute ending ties up the show in a happy, carefree manner, far from the abrasive and hard-edged world of gonzo porn.
