"Practice Makes Perfect" is 2.5-minute short film from 3 years ago. There are 2 child actors in here and that is it. We basically watch a boy's preparations at home for his first kiss, where he kisses everything he gets his hands on, including pumpkins, balloons etc. And at the same time, we watch him during the actual date. Will it go well? Will he kiss her? I must say there is no real drama or comedy in this movie, but it's a cute watch nonetheless and already worth giving a chance for its ending. Devon Avery seems to have some talent, I liked other works from him as well. Hopefully, he will get the chance to make a quality full feature at some point. Until then, I recommend his short films, including this one here. Thumbs up.

For what it is its perfect!

It is very cute. The two actors are perfect. The boy is so earnest in practicing his kissing, and the expression on the girl's face when he kisses her (about 2:10 in the film) is priceless. If you are having a bad day, watch this movie, it is just so sweet.
