Linda is tired of doing everything for everyone else, and being forgotten about and taken for granted. She visits her GP believing she's got dementia, turns out it's the menopause, and a signal to change her life.
Bridget Christie shows that she's not just a terrific comedian, a talented actress, but also a cracking writer.
How refreshing to see a comedy telling a story about a character going through the menopause, just a few years back this would have been something of a Taboo subject. There's definitely more of an openness these days.
I thought this was a fine start, it established the characters well and set the scene, I'm sure there are lots of laughs to come.
More than just Linda's menopause, it's her realisation that she's wasted a lot of time, been taken for granted, and has a lot of catching up to do.
Look out for some big comedy names, Paul Whitehouse, Liza Tarbuck and many more. I must admit I was sold when I saw the name Monica Dolan, what a versatile actress, fresh from that monstrous role in Black Mirror, here she is doing comedy, amazing talent.
8/10.
