Little Green Ant

Warning: Spoilers
This show is like my new favorite junk food.

Probably the most exciting action packed thrill ride episode this season.

Spoilers: Robert-On life support but in stable condition. This may start a war between the cops and Bunny.

Arian brother hood-Down 3 thugs and a leader, This may start a war with the brotherhood and Mike and Bunny's crew on the inside.

Mikes Mom-Shot but in stable condition. This may cause Kyle to be grounded for life, for accidently shooting her.

Milo- Presumed dead in explosion...but apparently alive somehow. He may end up coming back to kill Iris and maybe Mikes whole family.

I don't care what the critics say, I think this show is still going strong aside from a few less than great episodes this season. I hope Renner is able to recover enough to come back. He is such a huge part of what makes this show so entertaining to watch.

Hope you enjoy it like I did.

You're Grounded!

They saved the best episode of Season 2 for the finale-as it should be. It had a bit of a Godfather Part II feel with regards to settling scores.

Jeremy Renner (Mike McLusky) dominated the episode, of course, but Taylor Handley (Kyle McLusky) produced a strong performance, as did series co-creator Hugh Dillon (Ian).

Director Stephen Kay gave a pulse-pounding tension-filled tautly-crafted edge-of-the-seat winner. It was a dark, edgy, wired and satisfying conclusion to an up and down season. But when a season ends on a high-note, it tends to lift the entire season with it. Mission accomplished.

And, as with all good finale's, it left loose ends unwrapped and characters in flux.

Pretty Good Show - But Weird
jk-7714919 March 2023
I have been "binge watching" this show and find it very captivating. Interesting cast and an every-changing plot. Mike (Jeremy Renner) seems to have nine lives, just like a cat. All of those bullets flying, yet none as of yet had his name on them.

This show is supposed to take place in Michigan - probably somewhere near Detroit. However, in one scene, Michael is driving and the highway sign near an intersection looks to be from Pennsylvania (Keystone shaped highway route numbers).

Compelling show for sure!! If you are new to watching this, please go back to the very beginning and stream every episode from the first season before tuning in to Season #2. The friendly tension between Mike and Bunny is what seems to be the glue that holds the show together.

Weak finale

Warning: Spoilers
This episode and the drinking walkabout one were poorly written IMHO.

How does Mike forget the millions in bearer bonds? Or his meeting with Milo!? And then they decide to have a shootout at the house and shocker Mom gets hit.

And then Milo is alive. After all that. And is going to come back to the podunk town he escaped from, cause he's the super villain to the super hero Mike.

With Renner's accident this show is probably on life support. Even if you somehow recast or get Jeremy back, I'm not sure how this show moves forward.

Are there any people left alive in Kingston after Mike is done?

Season 1 was so good that it was natural to go downhill from there.

Writing gets more chaotic towards the end
mattyg-3179021 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The season feels like it is written without a master plan. Motivations for characters seem an after thought. Mike asked for so many favors you question the his worth in every episode. He has a business that he ignored for the entire season. How can he be the "Mayor" when he hasn't helped a single person? Who would anyone respect or rely on him? Huge departure from first season. The idea that they would leave questions dangling about things that never came up (Terry) and spend way too much time with characters that don't advance the story is just frustrating. The Mom is such an annoying and useless character. Enough already.

Spoiler... The fact that Milo can still be alive at all is a slap in the face to the character of Mike and the viewers.

I am done with the series....even if it comes back. Writing is important to me and this series doesn't care anymore.
