Raghav: A Rollercoaster of Emotions
dhurbajyotirajkonwar8 November 2023
Directed and produced by Jatin Bora himself, this film promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring a power-packed cast including Nishital Goswami and veteran actress Mridula Baruah, with music by the renowned Zubeen Garg.

"Raghav" takes us on a heartfelt journey through the life of a taxi driver, grappling with grief, hardship, and misfortune. While the film explores familiar themes, it packs in a punch with its portrayal of love, sorrow, hate, romance, and action, ensuring you remain glued to your seats.

While the storyline might seem somewhat inspired by South Indian and Bollywood movies, the film redeems itself with commendable acting from the entire cast. Each artist gives their best, delivering convincing performances that help you connect with the characters. The music, composed by Zubeen Garg, is a definite highlight, with melodious songs that add depth to the storytelling.

In "Raghav," nothing may be entirely new, but it's a one-time watch worth considering if you're a fan of the genre. It might not break new ground, but it certainly doesn't disappoint. So, whether you choose to board this rollercoaster of emotions or not, the decision is yours.

Trying too hard but failing
simplydipu29 October 2023
"Raghav," directed by Jatin Bora and starring Nishita Goswami, presents an interesting storyline, but falls short in its execution. The film attempts to resonate with Assamese sentiments, but the overall quality leaves much to be desired. While the actors put in decent performances, the movie struggles to engage the audience due to inconsistent pacing and a lack of depth in character development. The direction by Jatin Bora shows potential, but the narrative fails to deliver a compelling experience. Ultimately, "Raghav" feels like an effort to capitalize on regional sentiments, but it doesn't quite succeed in leaving a lasting impression.
