I saw this at the Nashville Film Festival and it was a wonderful surprise. I've never seen Richard Kind in a role like this, and man is it a revelation! You can see the weight of regret and just world-weariness drawn on his face the entire time. The writing is also incredible as it keeps you guessing but is so tightly crafted that you've gone on a journey in such a short time. All the performers are sharp, and demand empathy. You feel like you know them. I am hoping this gets picked up as this is a promising start in a world I'd like to get to know, and a character that has such depth. Direction is strong. Clearly a team with a story to tell, and I want to see more!
