One of the Funniest Episodes of the Show

While the first two episodes of the show were pretty good and finally dealt with Guillermo after 5 seasons, and while they were funny too, they weren't as funny as some of the show's first seasons.

However, This episode gets funnier as it goes, and I hadn't laughed this much at this show in a long time.

The episode is called Pride Parade, but thankfully, not every single plotline was about the Parade and every character had their own storylines.

Matt Berry is hilarious as always. He's the one making this show as good as it is. He can make me laugh till my sides hurt by saying the most normal and generic sentences. The way he talks in this show is one of the funniest things ever.

This episode is also really creative in coming up with new vampire scenarios for the gang to mess with. It shows that this show still has some tricks up its sleeve and still can come up with new vampire lores and shenanigans for them.

Nandor trying to impress Guillermo is surprisingly impressive and also funny. Laszlo testing Guillermo's vampire abilities was also funny and pretty wholesome too at times, though I wish they did more with it. But I'm sure they're gonna expand on it this season.

Nadja and Colin Robinson's little plotline was also hilarious and even though what they did isn't really original and we also had a movie with this concept as its core concept just a few years back, it still managed to be surprising and funny and I didn't see it coming.

I also love how the special effects and CGI in this show never look that low-budget and they always look good, and this episode's was no different.

Overall, a pretty hilarious episode and the best of the new season so far. I hope the rest of the season is as funny as this one.

excellent hilllrious.... reminds me of the good old days of matt berry

It's been a while since companies felt so free making fun of pride and i mean not that it's done in a bad/offensive way

matt berry's it crew'd days were much funnier but also much more offensive obviously so i'd argue the episode strikes a good balance making fun of pride in a polite manner

excellent simple execution all the good old main tropes were addressed.

(even if certain ideas were a bit more hidden so to not be offensive such as Colin Robinson's "behavior" without giving spoilers)

over all well done there's not much more to say other then that

(there is a small issue with one of the subplot's but not everything always has to make perfect sense in a vampire world so i guess it's fine)

Hilarious!!!

Okay so usually the "gay" episode in a show or series is almost always geared towards fighting hate and someone being picked on BUT NOT THIS, I thought this was hilarious!!!

So neighbour Sean seeks the help of our vampires and gets more than he bargains for as they volunteer to run the entire pride parade on Staten Island, Namdor is starting to get jealous as Guillermo is spending more time with Lazlo as they run tests on him to see what is going on with the vampire change, so Nandor goes above and BEYOND to show that he is the best.

Not to mention at the same time Naja doll and Naja have swapped bodies as Naja doll feels she is missing out on some things a doll can't do, very funny episode, no political crap they just celebrate the gays hahahahah it's quite funny, when there episodes end I always have the same feeling, I NEED MORE.

fun episode!

Warning: Spoilers
This show is definitely back on track after getting tiresome thru a lot of season 4. Sean & Charmaine the neighbors always deliver laughs, what is it about them anyway?

Looks like Nandor has repented his Marwa/Freddie follies and is trying to win back Guillermo, who at this point I hope knows to stay away from Nandor the Relentlessly Toxic. Oh I know where this is going, Nandor finally decides to give Guillermo his fondest wish and Guillermo has to somehow fake drinking Nandor's blood without exploding.

I wonder how the blood of a slayer-turned-quasi-vampire tastes anyway? Would be funny and appropriate if it was toxic to vampires. If Nandor couldn't actually stomach Guillermos' blood, then that saves Guillermo's bacon. Nandor will be embarrassed and blame himself. Phew!

I love the Guillermo plotline but it is totally bizarre that neither he nor the usually-sharp Lazlo have figured out that Guillermo being a slayer might have something to do with his predicament. Do they writers really think the audience doesn't remember?!?
